Cooking Time : 20 mins
Ingredients:
Potato - 2 big, chopped
Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped finely
Green chilli - 1, chopped finely
Channa Dal - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Sambar Powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves
Oil
Salt
Potato - 2 big, chopped

Procedure:
- Heat oil in a kadai. Fry mustard , channa dal and curry leaves.
- Saute Onion and green chillies with a pinch of turmeric and salt.
- Add the chopped potatoes, saute well.
- Add in the chilli powder, sambar powder and adjust the salt.
- Cover and cook in medium heat for about 10 minutes with occasional sauteing.
- Do not add any water.
- Let the potato roast a little, this enhances the taste. but do not let it burn ;)
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with any kind of Rice dish. Tastes great with Lemon Rice especially.
